Objectives

The organization is formed to pursue the following objectives;

a. To strengthen the engagement of persons with disabilities in program planning and governance.

b. Promoting the inclusion and access to social services for muslims with disabilities and other PWDs.

c. To train and model muslims with Disabilities and other PWDs for leadership roles.

d. To actively involve muslims with disabilities and their families in monitoring and evaluation of relevant programmes.

e. To improve impactful disability programming through documentation and
operational research.

f. To work with relevant institutions/organizations to promote inclusive laws,
policies and practices that addresses the rights of muslims with disabilities and other PWDs.

g. To promote the health, education, governance and livelihood of Muslims with disabilities and to ensure that they are supported to live a productive life; and to provide appropriate assistive/mobility devices to muslims with disabilities and other PWDs including referral.

h. To advocate for accessibility in mosque and Islamic institutions such as provision of ramp, braille Quran and sign language interpreter for deaf.

i. To organize and conduct Ramadan lectures, seminars etc, towards better
understanding of Islamic obligation and objectives of fasting and other Islamic
tenets.

j. To enlighten the muslims with disabilities in the society about the negative
effects of crime and to teach them moral behavior in our society.

k. To help in nation building by teaching muslims with disabilities and adults to shun negative vices and enhance patriotic selfless mindsets towards national
development.

l. In national interest, to encourage and promote local content that will support creativity and invention which will translate and change our country from consuming nation to a producing nation.

m. To promote adherence to civic duties and responsibilities through regular
enlightenment in collaboration with government and other organizations with
similar objectives.

n. To empower and create sustainable impact through skills acquisition, financial grants, entrepreneurship trainings, for small and medium scale business, start up for youth, widows and the less privileged in the society.

o. To inculcate the habits of discipline, hard work, integrity, righteousness and focus as tools for achieving excellence, success and victory in life of individual member.

p. To advocate for the abandonment of harmful and unhealthy cultural practices while promoting healthy and effective Integration across diverse socio-economic and cultural differences without discrimination.

q. To promote and stimulate sense of patriotism and selfless services to the religion of Allah.

r. To serve as a forum through which the spirit of brotherhood & unity among the Muslim brothers is promoted.

s. To serve as a forum through which Muslims with disabilities can be encouraged to acquire authentic knowledge of Islam as ordained by Allah (SWT) and practiced by prophet Muhammad (SAW).

t. To establish accessible and inclusive mosques, schools and award scholarship to indigent students and advance learning and propagation of Islam.

u. To organize seminar and workshops and collaborate with similar organization. with a view to attaining the aims and objectives of the organization.

v. To facilitate the involvement of Muslim with disabilities activities in academic and non-academic endeavours.

w. To serve as a forum for networking with Muslim organizations to improve their academic activities of our members.

x. To educate and enlighten Muslims about the virtues of islam. Persons with
disabilities, internally displaced persons (idps), refugees/victims of natural and human disasters so as to stabilize, rehabilitate and reintegrate them as well as
promote socio-economic integration of vulnerable people within communities in crisis and post-conflicts.

y. To strengthen the Islamic brotherhood irrespective of race, tribe and social
status.

z. To stand solely and wholly for the great fundamental principles embodied in the glorious quran and the Sunnah of the holy prophet (S.A.W).
